Garcia closes out the championship
Spain’s Cesar Garcia has claimed his first PokerGO Tour title, collecting $420,000 in the $26,000 PLO Championship. The closing event of the 2026 PGT PLO Series drew 48 entries and produced a $1.2 million prize pool.
Garcia beat Robert Cowen heads-up. Cowen received $264,000, while Matthew Wantman finished third for $174,000. Seven players made the money.

According to PGT’s 4 October report, Garcia took a decisive lead after his nut flush faced a large river check-raise from Cowen. Garcia moved all in, Cowen folded, and the match ended two hands later.
Kronwitter takes the series title
Jonas Kronwitter finished top of the series standings with 598 points, ahead of Sam Soverel and Garcia. His five cashes included two wins and a runner-up finish.
The next Omaha event starts 5 October
Super High Roller Bowl PLO IV runs from 5–7 October at the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas. The official schedule lists a $103,000 entry.
Super High Roller Bowl XI follows on 8–10 October with a no-limit hold’em field.
