Eric Wasserson and Andrew Robl during their record High Stakes Poker pot

Eric Wasserson Wins Record $2.478M High Stakes Poker Pot vs Andrew Robl

Eric Wasserson and Andrew Robl played a $2,478,000 pot on High Stakes Poker, setting a new record for the biggest pot in the show’s history.

The massive hand took place during Saturday’s High Stakes Poker livestream from the PokerGO Studio in Las Vegas and ended with Wasserson winning both runouts.

The new record narrowly surpassed the previous High Stakes Poker benchmark of $2,421,500 by $56,500.

Wasserson went on to finish the session as the night’s biggest winner, booking a reported $2.208 million profit, while Robl ended nearly $770,000 down.

How the Record $2.478 Million Pot Developed

The hand started with Wasserson raising to $20,000.

Michael “Texas Mike” Moncek called before Robl three-bet to $110,000.

Wasserson responded with a four-bet to $280,000.

Moncek folded, but Robl called, bringing the pot to $599,000 before the flop.

Both Wasserson and Robl checked the flop.

On the turn, Wasserson held top pair while Robl had picked up a powerful combination draw, including a flush draw, a gutshot, and two overcards.

Robl checked.

Wasserson bet $200,000.

Robl moved all in.

Wasserson still had approximately $740,000 behind, leaving him with a call for roughly that amount.

Wasserson called.

The resulting pot was $2,478,000.

The players agreed to run the river twice.

Wasserson won both runouts and collected the entire record-breaking pot.

Biggest Pot in High Stakes Poker History

The $2.478 million pot established a new High Stakes Poker record.

Earlier in 2026, a $2,421,500 pot involving Santhosh Suvarna had set the previous benchmark for the long-running poker show.

Wasserson and Robl pushed the record another $56,500 higher.

The record applies specifically to High Stakes Poker. It does not establish a record for all televised poker.

Robl and Wasserson Had Unfinished Business

Robl had publicly challenged Wasserson before the week’s high-stakes action and made it clear he was prepared to play an enormous game against him.

Friday’s session ended in substantial losses for both players.

The Friday figures supplied to HPD list Robl down $711,500, Wasserson down $1.11 million, and Stanley Tang up $1.5 million.

The matchup continued into Saturday.

This time, it produced the biggest pot High Stakes Poker has ever seen.
